I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
